Seller Policies
Listings that violate BidNigeria's policies may result in disciplinary
action. This action may include a formal warning, the ending of all
violating listings, or even temporary or indefinite suspension of a
user's account. BidNigeria's will consider the circumstances of an
alleged offense and the user's trading records before taking action. In
most cases, BidNigeria's will credit all associated fees when a listing
is ended.
Items must be listed in the appropriate category.
Users may not use systems or techniques to circumvent, or avoid, BidNigeria's fees.
Sellers may not concurrently have more than 10 listings for
identical items. If a seller chooses to list in more than one category,
the seller must still adhere to the multiple listings limit of 10.
Sellers may not use multiple User IDs to list more than 10 identical
items.
Keyword spamming occurs when members place brand names or
other inappropriate keywords in a title or description for the purpose
of gaining attention or diverting members to a listing. Keyword
spamming in listings is not permitted on BidNigeria's. The text sellers
place in listings must be directly relevant to the item being sold.
Sellers are not permitted to create titles for their listings that do not accurately describe the item for sale.
Listings not offering an item or service for sale are not
permitted on BidNigeria's. These types of listings include but are not
limited to:
Listings where the buyer cannot verify the existence of the item upon receipt of the item
Listings with the apparent, primary purpose of expressing the seller’s personal views
Signposts – listings primarily meant to direct a user to a seller’s store or other listings
Want Ads – unless they are posted in the Want It Now Format
Violations of this policy may result in a range of actions, including:
Listing cancellation
Limits on account privileges
Account suspension
Forfeit of BidNigeria's fees on cancelled listings
